We drove to the beach about two weeks ago and stopped by the sea. The hotel we stayed at has a garage directly across the street, but the maximum garage height is 7ft 6in. My SUV hardtop roof rack is higher than this so this was not possible. I really missed the extra space, especially during the long journey there. When I got home I decided to try this. This is an easy setup. Now I canoe and kayak, plus I'm familiar with installing a hard shell carrier - it was easy. I was amazed at how small the bag is. My hard case carrier is huge and takes up a lot of garage space - it's tiny Blanket by comparison, put bag on, fill, zip and tie as shown. Just. It also seems well made - thick nylon that should be rainproof. I installed it on my Crosstrek and Pathfinder and it works great on both. Next time we go I'll just unload and pack it up and throw it in the truck. Now I'm thinking about selling my hardtop wagon. R
