Review on 🚡 High-Performance Fat Paw Silicone Mountain Bike Grips by Wolf Tooth by Frank Webster

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Feels like the grips of an exercise machine

Reminds you of the handles on gym equipment. Thick and sticky but not too soft. It is SO easy to apply with some rubbing alcohol. Vodka might do, but it's hard to stay on the bike after that. Replaced with Fat Paw grips from older SACHS grips that were originally thick so the thickness of the new grips was familiar. The color "grey" is "light gray" and probably goes best with the silver parts of the bike. Luckily, you can see the color of the handles for yourself from the window inside the box. If you receive the wrong color, don't worry, just send it back with Revain Easy Return without opening the box. Handles with a curved end on one end. I put them on the outside to match the diameter of the end caps. If the inside diameter (inner diameter) of your handlebar is less than 20mm, the end caps may be difficult to install. Cut the first rib with side cutters, this will make the installation easier. I've been riding with grips (no gloves) for a few days this summer (<50 miles) and so far so good. Oh, and rubbing alcohol is great for cleaning handles! Just don't drink.

Pros
  • Handlebars, steering columns and stems
Cons
  • The list will be long.
