This is my first manual coffee grinder. I read many reviews before deciding. I was hesitating between this and Java Press. The Java Press is made of ceramic while the Timemore is made of stainless steel. Ceramics take longer to grind. I chose Timemore when I saw this new discounted edition. So the price I bought was $67.98. It's almost twice the size of JavaPress, but this one feels more solid and metallic. The product has arrived. I tried. It took me 1 minute (about 65 turns) to get 25 grams of ground coffee out of the French Press. It's fast. Well, the thing is worth the price.
