**Update: An early update to see the collar continues to work well and my pup seems to appreciate it. I would also like to point out that this is not true of the reviewers who claim that the chain link was installed the wrong way around (making it defective). By pulling the chain link 2 inches to the right or left, it slides right through the (large) link rings for proper placement/alignment. There is no manufacturing defect. Seems to be a good product. Good alternative to my pup's leather collar and tactical harness. He actually responds well to being controlled with this collar, while he tends to pull when other collars are on the leash (hence my usual use of his harness). The only issue is that in hindsight I would have preferred to have bought genuine or dark brown leather instead of black as black looks pretty flat - no texture. In contrast to the stainless steel buckle, chain and holes, it reminds me of an ex Hot Topic friend's belt. But it suits him. (110 lb, 14 month old roti).
