Pathetic ceiling fan installation instructions and even worse wiring instructions!

I'm ready to return this piece of junk! Can't get the light to work. Directions don't help at all. The ceiling fan/light has 5 wires, 3 for motor, 2 for light. The labels on the wires read U motor, W motor and V motor. The two light labels just say "for light". There is a wall switch diagram in the instructions but all it says is to turn on the fan and turn on the light for wiring. There is no description of what type of cable it could be. Also towards the wall switch the fan/light only has 3 wires. My fan is running but the headlights are off. I bought a new wall switch to adjust the power. Still does not work. Grrr!
