This is a very cute harness, just as advertised. My only concern is the length of the strap holding the two straps together where the leash clip is. It may be fine for a small cat, but it's noticeably too short for my cat. However, she is quite large, 10 to 14 pounds (not even fat, just oddly proportionate for a normal old shorthair). It just doesn't leave enough room on their shoulders. So when the straps are properly adjusted and stay under their elbows, they pull on their neck. For smaller kittens this shouldn't be a problem, just make sure you check when dressing so you don't choke your poor little baby. And if so, simply loosen the neck piece until you can comfortably slide a finger or two between the front of the neck and the seat belts. Here's what we did to make this harness work for us. Worth mentioning as my cat is so big I was concerned the harness would not fit and I will say if you have a particularly fat kitten this harness will do! I maxed it out and expected it to barely hold up, but actually had to downsize by a few inches! So it's definitely roomy in width, just needs work on that intermediate strap. It could fit comfortably with an extra 2-3 inches of length. The material seems quite durable and I really like the buckle on the leash. In general I like it very much! Just thought I would caution anyone with extra long/large kittens to check the front of the neck portion of the harness. Be safe out there guys! :)
