I bought a B+W 49mm XS-Pro Clear Filter to use with a Canon EF-M 15-45 3.5-6.5 IS STM lens. The workmanship is superb: solid brass frame, matte black finish to eliminate glare, smooth threads and knurling on the rim for a secure grip. The slim profile does not vignette at the 15mm setting. I found the transparency and glare resistance excellent. No problem with street lights or sunsets causing glare or ghosting. And yes, the front thread is deep enough to securely hold a lens cap or mount another filter. Great filter and money well spent on protection and quality.
