Lately we buy a lot of bike bells because we ride in linear parks. It's got a nice clear sound (rather than the awful pop of others we've bought) and it's louder, meaning there's a better chance anyone with headphones will actually hear your alert. Requires an Allen key to install or another screw to replace the one provided (I used one from a recently purchased one that was already roasted. Also, I couldn't install it on a bike with smaller diameter handlebars once I tightened it top The bell didn't work Can be repaired with caulking but didn't have the right one so just installed it on another bike Bought 3 more as gifts and may buy a few more to improve what we have. Turns out they included an Allen key in the box, but you'll have to look for it.
