Great concept with a serious design flaw.

The bell is small but LOUD so don't be fooled. However, this call has a design flaw. Your handlebars must be the same diameter as the hole around the stem or it won't work. There is a screw holding it in place to keep the bell from slipping. In my third and fourth drawing I show what happens when the diameter gets larger: you end up with 2 contact points that completely muffle the sound and make the bell unusable. . One pin is the source of the spring on the trigger and the other is the trigger

Here it is - Accessories

Lately we buy a lot of bike bells because we ride in linear parks. It's got a nice clear sound (rather than the awful pop of others we've bought) and it's louder, meaning there's a better chance anyone with headphones will actually hear your alert. Requires an Allen key to install or another screw to replace the one provided (I used one from a recently purchased one that was already roasted. Also, I couldn't install it on a bike with smaller diameter handlebars once I tightened it top The bell…

Loud bell but be careful when attaching it to the bike

This bell is very loud perfect for those who wear headphones with music. This is a simple mechanism that will most likely never fail. I have a mountain bike with a standard flat handlebar. When attaching the bell, the inner circumference of the bell attachment is too small for the handlebar. I adjusted it to the thinnest part. Because the material is flexible, it's not noticeable until you ring the bell and nothing happens. When the bracket is fully tightened, it retracts the trigger just…

Continuous. Noisy. Small.

I'm a bit picky when it comes to bicycle bells. I ride my mountain bike once a week on average. Using the bell is essential for safety, whether it's on a climb to notify a hidden driver coming your way and vice versa, or on crowded dual lanes. This bell sounds strong and LOUD. The only issue I had was being able to mount the bell on the cab so the bell wouldn't touch my brakes or lock handles. What I was able to do was put a 2mm thick rubber spacer under the bell clamp. Thus the bell has enough

Bike Bell Goldilocks

Man I wanted this bell to please. I searched and searched for just the right call that didn't cost too much and looked ok. I saw the reviews on this tool and thought THIS IS IT! It's small enough not to look silly, seemed well made with some metal components, and is loud with a clear, pleasing sound. BUT. I have no idea what handlebar circumference this bell is for. Wanted to try it on a racing bike handlebar, the plastic bracket was so small that one day the baffle plate was pressed STRONGLY…

Very nicely made bell

I have a few bells on different bikes but this one is very nicely made with a plastic strap that wraps around the handlebars without scratching them. The bell itself is small but makes a loud, shrill "peeennnngggg" sound when the trigger is released. It's fairly easy to install, you just need to make sure the captive nut for the mounting screw is properly oriented. I dropped my bell and the nut moved sideways a bit and didn't want to line up with the screw until I used a small screwdriver to…
