Review on CMC Pro 16x 4.7GB DVD-R Silver Thermal in Cake Box - 100 Pack, Enhanced by TY Technology by Donald Gore

I originally purchased this set of 100 DVD-Rs in 2018; Here is my 2 year recap: (2018) I lost twenty years of photos, documents, family portraits, art, videos etc when my external hard drive broke. *SUPER LONG Long story short, I found a YouTuber who has professional experience in transferring data from a broken hard drive to another platform for temporary recovery. He's known as "The Apophasis Theory" - he's very informative and knows what he's talking about. He STRONGLY recommended these drives for permanent storage, so I bought them. (2020) I've been using these DVD-Rs for two years now, storing tons of important photos/videos on them and haven't had a single problem with them at all. These are the BEST DVD-Rs I have ever used and I will continue to buy them. They write data to my Macbook Pro quickly, and if I needed to go back and copy an image or video back to my desktop, it wasn't a problem. EVERY wedding photographer, artist or anyone who wants to be safe and effective should buy these discs. External hard drives are only for temporary storage and will fail. Don't make the same mistake I made; Be smart and take the time to archive properly, you won't regret it.
