Received the fill tool today. Doesn't work as well as my fine filler pen. The problem is that the wheel slips under traction. Correction is exactly the opposite of common sense. Without the rod inserted, the wheel should spin freely. T-8 adjustment tool included. I used a TT-8 in the grip to remove the bolt holding the mainspring under the wheel. Bending over for more friction is a misnomer. That only makes the situation worse. I took the spring at the bend next to the hole with pliers and bent it to relieve the stem and wheel. The rod can now be moved manually without much resistance. Now the tool also works perfectly on a thin stainless steel rod. I love it.
