Nice, light (but maybe too light for kids?)
Very nice gate and the light from below is a great feature. This helps illuminate our stairs at night and reminds people that there is a threshold to cross. It comes with an expand/compress 'key' which is actually just a hex key so thankfully it doesn't matter if you lose it. My one-year-old daughter had already figured out where the latch was (a double button that a full handle could operate with a small hand) and started playing with it. Although she hasn't opened them yet, I'm concerned that they might lose their security sooner than some of the other gates I've seen.
