Premature failure!

Very disappointed! I bought them on January 25, 2018 for our 01' Sierra 4X4. I've used KYB on previous cars with good luck so figured I couldn't go wrong. They've got 7,000 miles on them (all highways) and they're already bad! How do I replace them since they failed within a year?
