Review on Hydronix SDC 45 1001 Sediment Filter Length by Curtis Donjuan

I bought this filter last year and I'm happy. It has better filtration properties like filtration efficiency and number of layers. Unfortunately, it's currently out of stock at many retailers, so the price has gone from $13 to $19. So this time I'm going to buy a slightly inferior Pentek DGD-2501 for $13. Water filters are often designed for a service life of 2 or 3 months. But I am using this in a two stage system with a Hydronix CB-45-1001 as the second stage. Since I only use it for drinking water, I change the sediment filter every year and the activated carbon filter every two years. CB-45-1001 is designed for 20,000 ha. If I drank 2g a day, the carbon store would be gone in 25 years. So if you change the CB-45-1001 every two years, you should be very careful.
