Wanted it to work bought 2 sets of these. I was finally able to do it perfectly on the 3rd try. Looked good, clear with no bubbles. The problem here is that the stylus leaves marks on the screen cover. This screencap shows each line as the stylus is used. It looks like the lid has small dents. Maybe if you don't use a pen you'll be fine. Groves or dents aren't going anywhere, so there's no self-healing here.
