It was great right away. I love the water tester that proved my tap water is actually pretty gross. The box indicates how high the total pollution in your water is by state, and also indicates that because of this difference, everyone will have different periods of time for filters. It also tells you not to use the filter if the reading is 006. OK, I agree. I started using this Saturday and on Thursday I read 006 and on Saturday it just stopped filtering the water and just sat in the sink. At this point, the water tastes worse than my tap water. Even if I was happy with a slightly higher reading, it won't let you. The filters last less than a week and cost $10 each. GARBAGE. Very disappointed with this product.
