This drain is exactly what I needed with a fiberglass pan and 2" drain pipe. The hole for the drain pipe was flush with the plywood floor. What is missing here are helpful instructions. They don't explain that a flat strip of metal is used around the inside diameter of this drain to adjust the size of the rubber compression pad hole. First, from the top of the drain, take a medium-sized screwdriver and loosen (counter-clockwise) the sealing clamp ring as you mount the drain onto the pipe. Then, after assembly, tighten the seal clamp ring (clockwise). Much luck.
