Review on Vibram Womens V Trek Sneaker Blue Women's Shoes ~ Athletic by Tonya Connors

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fits well, Fits only for urban life

First, the landing is normal! or at least the same as Spiridone and KMD. I am the same size in everything and actually choose 39 for wmns 8-8.5, although when buying Vans I buy Converse in 9 (add insoles and narrow toe shoes) and I buy size 8.5 in Nike (loose Wider toe box than some other Nikes) I find that all five toe Vibram shoes stretch well and work better when tight. I don't wear toe socks, but do squirt them with vinegar after use and wash them once a quarter. I bought them for outdoor use, hiking, trail running, trail running, grass walking. I recommend just weed and a trail or a walk in the mall lol. The support on them is poor, compared to others the Spiridon was at least firm and not flexible on the ground so rocks and derbies don't hurt your sole. The fact that the bottom is one piece doesn't mean that the sportier shoe (I have KMD) has multiple layers that provide more support. On the KMD you can see that there is a separate arch layer that sits higher than the ground contact areas, which by design actually offers a lot more arch support and foot stability. Spiridons work because one part was harder and therefore supportive. These shoes just don't have a thin layer of either. For example, you get traction when running on a sand hill, the grip is better than the KMD, which is to be expected since the KMD is a training shoe (gym, weightlifting, cardio).

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Low maintainability
