There's a better way to solve your wireless range problem for less. I've been using my WSB24 for a few months and have probably noticed a 25% increase in throughput at the far ends of the house (important as we currently have 3 thermostats, 2 TiVos, a variable number of laptops and a new Linksys 802.11b camera , all via WLAN ). Anyway, I recently added 2 more BEFW11S4 combo routers (wired and wireless) and instead of plugging my ethernet cable into my local PC I plugged them into additional routers and then one of the 4 ports on them for the local one PC used. As a result, the local machine still gets the benefits of wired network access, while the wireless portion of routers provides a full signal to larger areas of the home. I think that's an obvious solution (although it took me a while to figure it out), but at a price of a router that's a little over half the price of a wireless access point/bridge (WET11) and less than the Cost of this booster is , this approach solved all my problems perfectly. Access is as secure everywhere as on the (still in use) WSB24. Now I'm in net nirvana!
