Review on Kobelli Princess Diamond Wedding Ring Set 1 Carat (Ctw) In 14K White Or Yellow Gold by Samuel Reppa

My husband purchased this engagement ring set ring in December 2019 and just 10 months later the diamond fell out. While the engagement ring is very pretty, the workmanship is of poor quality. It appears to me the diamond was soldered into the ring and not secured with prongs. I am very upset because I no longer have an engagement ring to wear. The company will not replace it because I did not purchase the Assurant Lifetime Jewelry Protection plan with my purchase. I was not aware I needed to, since the description stated it came with a warranty. My suggestion, is if you plan on purchasing this ring, be sure to buy the extended warranty or you might have a worthless piece of metal.2/15/2021 Follow up to previous review:I reached out via email to Kobelli and received a reply. They suggested I mail them my ring and they would examine it and get back to me. A week later, I followed up with them and they informed me that my ring was in the lab and that if they determined the damage was the result of workmanship they would cover it under warranty. I am happy to report, that I received my ring in the mail and it had been repaired at no charge to me.
