I don't think it would take long to say that if your TV or monitor has an HDMI connector and your graphics card has a DisplayPort connector, this product makes them work together. Plug in and done. I upgraded my graphics card to relieve CPU and RAM without realizing that HDMI is no longer state of the art. I use three monitors for music and photo production (the last one is the bottleneck). This adapter did it.
