I love the way this smells. I don't understand the complaints on that. If you are used to buying natural products, the smell shouldn't bother you. It is a little "hippy" in the way it smells, but again, I find it quite pleasant. My daughter had a really dry scalp and this cleared that right up. I can now wash her hair every day if I want to and don't have the dryness that we had before. I was very disappointed with the shipping of this item. It was boxed with a food item and not placed in any kind of protective wrapping, so the bottle leaked into the box. Revain was great about helping on the back end, but it wasn't the excellence I've come to expect with Revain. I'd maybe order it separately if you are buying a few things to make sure it doesn't get everywhere.
