This device works very well. I bought this particular device because it is one of the few Verizon devices that has the best signal strength in my area. When I first connected it it didn't show up on the webpage so I emailed support@trackmategps.com and mentioned Verizon as the best provider. Support ("Wolf") found that the device was not connected to Verizon, so they connected it to Verizon and I was up and running within 24 hours. It's definitely less than 50 feet away. You could probably find your car in the mall parking lot. The monthly fee for Saver+ (12) is lower than any other I've looked at. Both the website and the iOS app work well. To connect it I bought two additional fuse connectors from Autozone called Add-A-Circuit which simplified the wiring. I'm not a car reducer so I found a very helpful video on youtube called "How to safe and clean connect to your car's fuse box". Just to let you know that this is a genuine review and to be really selective, the product description says "Dustproof and waterproof (IP65)". But there's a plastic cover with a tiny switch inside, so I doubt it's really "waterproof". Waterproofing is not a requirement for my application, but I wanted to mention it.
