I have several of these and they track well. Report on the past day, week or month, good luck. The website's reporting function is rubbish. Most things don't work. Driver's report, no. Too bad they haven't taken it out yet.

Bought to track the location of the car. This worked well when the car was parked, but using a phone app to track a moving car was impractical, even with the highest GPS update rate on a subscription plan. Realizing that the app would never come close to real-time tracking, I canceled my subscription. To credit the sellers, they refunded my money for the subscription without contacting them.

Need a reliable and inexpensive way to monitor a truck that is spending a lot of time in a public garage after a hijack attempt . This product is perfect for that. You can set up notifications when the ignition is turned on or off, determine the car's location on demand and be notified when the car enters or leaves a certain area. Update August 2020 I have two bikes with this unit. Tracking has always been impressive! Now they've updated their iPhone app so I can turn off my bike while traveling! Customer support was very good. I highly recommend this system! Installed my device on the bike and tracking/activation worked great! I spent several hours hooking up the ignition off feature and tests showed it didn't work. Update: I worked with two different TrackMate engineers and discovered that their relay diagram is wrong.

This is a great device. This is our third Trackmate and it works as advertised. The ease of installation is a huge improvement over my older units - no knowledge of automotive electronics required. I think it took me 5 minutes total to install it. But the key is also to buy an OBD-II adapter so it can run on car power without an electrical wire connection. This device works very well. I bought this particular device because it is one of the few Verizon devices that has the best signal strength in my area. I installed it on my 2007 BMW X5. I used an "add circuit" through the fuse box. Luckily, in this car, the fuse box is behind the passenger. There is an amplifier for the stereo system on the driver's side and a fuse box on the passenger side. Getting out of the trunk is very easy.
