This is a great hole punch and replaces the one I've had for decades. Stable, heavy, well made. I managed to load a large number of pages - I didn't count them - to flip through at once. I only had one problem: I couldn't unlock it. I'm in my 70's and have arthritis in my fingers so my hands aren't very strong. I read a friendly user's answer about unlocking, but I misunderstood it. I wanted to write a slightly clearer answer to "How to unlock it". Here: Click on the handle at the top of the hole punch you would use if you would poke holes. holds it in place Press the small silver metal button that looks like a pen. keeps it in place. It's easy when you know how. Absolutely no power! I'm sure I will be using this hole punch for years to come. It was a good buy at a good price.
