Review on πŸ’‘ Cooler Master 650W Semi-fanless Modular Power Supply, 80 PLUS Bronze Certified for Computer Systems by Brian Graham

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great, quiet, cool PSU - Ryzen 2700x with RX580

Lots of power, good efficiency, fantastic build quality. Looks very stylish in the case and all cables are black. The half module is perfect. Works with RX580 GPU, 2700X Ryzen 7 processor and ASUS ROG Hero Crosshair VII mobile device, no problem. Very quiet, the fan is not yet audible even under moderate gaming load. The main differences between the power supplies are also due to this. .and these specs can be hard to find: 1) Built-in protection against overheating, overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuit, etc. Many power supplies skimp on these and you risk frying your phone or CPU if/when power supply malfunctions (read You about it, it happens more often than the manufacturer would like to admit) 2) The quality of electronic components and design. Fan (noise, reliability) 4) Rated efficiency 5) Warranty 6) Cable management/modularity and of course cost This PSU has all the protections, decent fan, decent warranty, decent fan, quiet (big fan with thermal management The fan is actually off at lower loads, the fan blades are designed to minimize noise), efficiency is rated at 80+ (about 90% actually), and the semi-modular cables get the job done. me for features and quality, not cost.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • High price
