Died after less than 2 years.

I had this power supply for almost 2 years. If he just died. Clear smell of ozone, luckily I didn't take any other components with me. I bought a used GPU when I was building my system and I was getting a lot of coil noise while gaming. I figured it was the graphics card and that was my punishment for buying a used card that otherwise worked great and was a good deal. After replacing the MasterWatt PSU with a Corsair PSU, the noise went away. The 8-pin CPU cable was 6x2 and the 24-pin 20x4…

I received a used high performance and high performance graphics card that needs to be upgraded to this power supply. The device was too big and I had to push the blocking piece of metal aside a bit. It's very tight. Turns out my graphics card wouldn't go to W10. However, I kept this power supply for three reasons. 1) Before that I bought Cooler Master PS twice for my other computers and I was very satisfied. Reliable Brand. 2) This new model allows me to remove unused cables instead of trying…

Really wanted to like it

After less than two hours of testing my new PC build, there was a strange smell coming from the back of my case. Suddenly the entire system shuts down mid-game and then refuses to turn back on after trying to use different outlets and the like. The power adapter seemed to run fine and very quietly during normal web browsing, but I only noticed a grating noise coming directly from this power adapter when testing intense games like PUBG and Need for Speed Payback. Aside from the fact that it's…

Lasted only 9 months before failure.

failed after 9 months, which is too early for an unloaded power supply. I built my wife a new computer so she can teach remotely and I used this power supply for the build. This assembly has never been heavily loaded. There was no indication that there were any problems prior to MASTERWATT's failure. When that failed, the PC just wouldn't turn on. No noise, odor or visible electrostatic discharge. Went to the Best Buy store and bought a Thermaltake PSU (they stocked this at the store with…

Great while it lasted - pay a little more for better parts

I bought this based on the many positive reviews. It was great on paper. Modular power supply, quiet, well-known brand and Plus Bronze certified. Very easy to install and connects seamlessly with ATX motherboards and AMD Radeon GPUs. 5 year warranty, died after 2 years. There is no phone number to contact a living person. Everything is emailed through the support portal. It takes about a week to get a reply from them. First contact - no power from device. Switched to another power and…

Great, quiet, cool PSU - Ryzen 2700x with RX580

Lots of power, good efficiency, fantastic build quality. Looks very stylish in the case and all cables are black. The half module is perfect. Works with RX580 GPU, 2700X Ryzen 7 processor and ASUS ROG Hero Crosshair VII mobile device, no problem. Very quiet, the fan is not yet audible even under moderate gaming load. The main differences between the power supplies are also due to this. .and these specs can be hard to find: 1) Built-in protection against overheating, overcurrent, overvoltage…

Pros

  • High price

Мой установлен на ПК с системой домашней безопасности с 9 камерами, Wi-Fi и видеонаблюдением, и работает бесшумно и тихо уже более 2-1 / 2 years. and it died. Woke up one day, it was over. Troubleshooting has shown that the power supply is defective. Tested with a known working power supply and with a test power supply, the computer started immediately. I went through the process with the Master Cooler and had to pay them shipping, but as soon as they checked the unit they sent me a brand new…
