Troubleshooting has shown that the power supply is defective. Tested with a known working power supply and with a test power supply, the computer started immediately. I went through the process with the Master Cooler and had to pay them shipping, but as soon as they checked the unit they sent me a brand new replacement. It took a few weeks but at least it was replaced and I didn't have to shell out a new one. It seems to be more than capable on my win 10 pc but not sure why it died? I have a dust filter on my case where the PSU draws cooling air and there is usually minimal dust buildup. So I don't think I'm crossing the threshold to turn on the fans? I don't seem to put too much stress on the computer and PSU. Otherwise a lot more dust would accumulate on the fan filter, right? I think they are a good company and although it took a little while they fully honored the guarantee! Bravo CoolerMaster! I have it on an early i5 processor, 12GB of memory, Geforce GTX 750 memory with 2GB of memory, points to three HD displays, one at 4K, two at 1080. three hard drives; The operating system is a Samsung 850 Pro SS hard drive, as well as a blue WD 1 TB, WD Purple 4 TB hard drive. OS is on SSD and all storage goes to WD 4TB Purple, 3rd WD drive, wd blue is where Win 10 was before I switched to SSD for OS and apps/software. So I left it there for alternate storage. This PSU has been working fine since installation but if it fails again after another 2.5 years I may need a better model but it could still be from this company as they just sent this brand new replacement!
