Works great at first, but over time the end piece that plugs into the controller will bend and then break. In the "Bend" phase, it will still work for some time and hold a charge. The controller will not charge, so you can take it off the charger to use it offline at this time. Imagine having to leave the end of the cable in your controller while playing a game or whatever you're doing on your PS4. It's pretty annoying. The good thing is that it's a typical Android cable, so it's easy to replace. I've never had an Android phone so I don't know how durable these cables are in terms of normal wear and tear with Android, but I've never broken an iPhone/iPad charger. Never come close to having to replace an iPhone/iPad charger, at least one like this one with reinforced braided cable. If it weren't for the crappy end piece that breaks so easily, this would be a much better product. The braided cable on it is extremely durable. It appears to be the same type of cable that Apple (and third parties that make compatible chargers and adapters) use.
