The size of the laptop is nice, however the number pad took some time to get used to as it is not a standard configuration. I've had my laptop for a little over 6 months and have been very happy with it during that time. However, now the battery suddenly runs out of charge, so I have to keep it plugged in all the time to use it, which isn't always convenient. To make matters worse, it took forever to figure out which battery to put in. I'm pretty sure I found the right one, but I won't know until I rip the laptop apart to remove the battery as it doesn't just slide in and out like other laptop batteries. The replacement cost is also $80-$100, as opposed to the usual $30-$50 for easy-to-replace batteries. I can do the replacement myself, or if I have trouble with it, I have friends and relatives who are computer scientists who can help me with it. I wouldn't recommend this laptop to anyone who doesn't enjoy removing a lot of small screws, opening the laptop, etc.
