I gave it 5 stars in the stretch rating, not because it's very stretchy, but because it just stretches *a little*, which is what I wanted . Rope. I actually bought this leash because I thought the second handle was adjustable and I needed a leash that would allow me to keep my little corgi pup close to me while walking. Well, while the handle isn't adjustable, the length is perfect even for shorties (at least for a tether in the back, not so perfect for a front clip, but still works). This is now my favorite dish. Holds my pup perfectly next to me with just enough reach for him to move but not get over or cross in front of me and the full length of the leash is longer than average which is great for him to meet other dogs and people. on walks during Covid. There is also a small metal ring on the main handle which is perfect for attaching the leash when hanging or tying the leash to a pole or similar. Excellent value for money and quality.
