Update: I bought a second one and am very disappointed with it! It doesn't look like the first one I bought. It's not strong at all. It doesn't fit in my small, lightweight sports camera, let alone my large photo box like my first one. I am really disappointed with this product. I'm thrilled with this little wobbly one! He's strong and tough and has survived every trial I've put him through so far! I have a bird photo booth 2.0 which is quite small but the bird house I put it in and the battery I put in the bird house are pretty heavy too! I have to admit, at first i was worried, scared that he wouldn't survive. But it is so. This eliminated the need for a tripod and allowed me to set up my camera in trees, in addition to things I just can't do with a tripod! I highly recommend it! I would test it on lower surfaces though because if I've learned anything from buying things from Revain, no two products are the same! Just because it works great for me doesn't mean you won't have defects, and I wouldn't want someone using their $700 camera on it and giving it away based on my rating!
