Where you can use this clip is only limited by someone's imagination.

A back injury decades ago has thrown my balance off my feet, so I use a 4 wheel walker outside. This clamp allows me to use the rollator as a trolley. Thanks to my DSLR's 45-90 degree tilting screen, I can get sharp photos without having to hold the camera to my face - those of you who are off balance know exactly what I mean. And I can move the camera anywhere with a reasonably smooth floor or sidewalk. Now I can't wait to try it as a "stabilizer" for videos. time interval? Why not? This clamp

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • New competition is here

Versatile, strong but imperfect

This little clamp mount is very versatile, very handy and generally very well constructed. Being mostly metal, it's surprisingly heavy (and durable) and looks very secure. The main disadvantage is the threaded ball attached to the main clamp - it does not remain on the thread. It looks like the manufacturer used some kind of thread lock to secure it (see photo), but that didn't work for me. I've tried several ways to tighten the ball retainer in the clamp assembly (carefully without damaging…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • too dull

Pretty strong. To update.

Update: I bought a second one and am very disappointed with it! It doesn't look like the first one I bought. It's not strong at all. It doesn't fit in my small, lightweight sports camera, let alone my large photo box like my first one. I am really disappointed with this product. I'm thrilled with this little wobbly one! He's strong and tough and has survived every trial I've put him through so far! I have a bird photo booth 2.0 which is quite small but the bird house I put it in and the battery

  • Don't waste too much time

Surprisingly versatile.

I use this for my home streaming setup to position the Atomos Ninja V directly under my mirrorless camera lens (to monitor when streaming full screen give me one Focus Point , which looks like I'm looking at viewer, observing frames, etc. I attached it to the top of the tripod (shown in the picture), specifically around the body of the molded leg (rather than the possibly fragile carbon legs). Too much clamping force had me supporting the ninja's weight at such a weird angle but it works SO…

Pros
  • High test scores for support and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

About as good as it gets, well worth buying.

A great product for anyone who needs to film in a variety of locations with minimal equipment. lots of indoor shoots in nightclubs, bars, whatever. And even if I wanted to take a tripod with me in these conditions, someone could potentially damage or knock over your gear and ruin your shot. This is a pretty big problem when you want to record a live event. But in a room I can almost ALWAYS find some kind of pipe, bracket, something to securely attach the camera to, which is usually out of reach

Pros
  • Complete Set
Cons
  • Empty

Not bad but needs work

My main purpose of using this clip was to attach the camera to the car's "A-pillar handrail" handle. While the clip is decent overall, there are a few caveats that gave me the "ahh" feeling. I feel like this clip was redesigned in some places but completely overlooked in others. The jaws of the clamp appear solid due to the heavy metals, but there are some very thin rubber pads in the jaws. While I like the rubber grips because they keep me from scratching other surfaces, I feel they feel too…

Pros
  • Many will do
Cons
  • Some difficulties
