Didn't work on 99 Saab 9-3
Purchased to replace the coolant temp sensor on my 99 Saab 9-3. The factory coolant sensor has a wire that comes straight from the sensor and has a connector at the end. To use this sensor I cut the wires from the old sensor and soldered them to the pins on this sensor. At first it seemed to work. The temperature gauge moved correctly. but the cooling fans did not run properly. In the end I ordered and installed the correct sensor with the cable and connector already connected. Since then no problems.
