Review on J-Tech Digital 1X2 Wireless HDMI Extender 200ft: Full HD 1080p, Dual Antenna, HDMI Loop Output, IR Passthrough – Receiver (1080P 200ft) by Adam Huper

I don't usually write reviews because most of the time I'm lazy, but I had to write a quick review at J-Tech because I've been happy with their products so far. I used to deal with J-Tech and bought their category 5 wired HDMI transmitter and it has been working flawlessly for a couple of years now. I saw a wireless HDMI transmitter back then, but it was more expensive than what you see now. However I wanted this for my other TV box and couldn't use a cable connection and the price was much better so I took a chance. I installed this in less than 10 minutes and it's pretty much plug and play. Works perfectly and of course that came as no surprise to me as everything I've bought from J-tech has always worked. I also bought an HDMI splitter to route the signal back to my TV and it worked great, not like those cheap Chinese crap splitters that never work out of the box. Just buy J-Tech, forget about the Chinese crap, you won't regret it. Coming back to the wireless HDMI transmitter, it has a beautiful perfect picture and the signal is transmitted through the floor from the first floor to the second floor. Sound and picture are perfectly synchronized, there is no lag. Keep in mind that their transmitter will also work fine, but you need to know that one of its eyes is the receiver and the other is the transmitter, and it's marked on the wire showing which is which. If you place the receiver in the transmitter's eye, it WILL NOT WORK! The transmitter from the eye goes to the transmitter box to receive signals from your receiver box. This also works for other IR signals such as Dish Network remotes or other remote controls. The assembly of the units is metal and not cheap at all, no plastic. Even the plug has a little washer screw that twists in as you insert to secure it. Only the best gear has a plug with a locking washer to keep it from falling off. Has great vents to dissipate heat but honestly it doesn't get hot at all, just a little warm and that's about it as far as transmitter, receiver and transmitter go. Glows brightly but that's not a problem, I'd rather see lights indicating connection or problems than nothing at all. I love this unit and am thinking of getting an extra receiver to share my box in another room so I can watch tv at night without moving the box. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking to buy from the company behind their product, in fact they buy every J-Tech product. If there are any changes or issues I will definitely update this review.
