Well, I've moved into a new apartment, the 3rd room should be my office. Also the farthest room from the home base of the modem. Also, this room is set up so that the line from the computer room I chose to the modem has about 6 walls and corners in between. I had about 20Mbps wifi with my 100Mbps internet. I don't use coax for cable TV in the 3rd room, but the apartment has it pre-installed throughout the apartment. It took me a little while to find my space wire but this product works just as easily as advertised. I was able to plug one side into the modem (and turn it on there) and the other side in the 3rd room (and plug into the computer's USB port) and now I'm getting 70Mbps (my wifi router could use an update) . ), but now I'm connected.
