Firstly if your speakers are 1/4"-20 or 10-32 none of the supplied screws will fit. The screws have to be purchased separately. I use them on my RM6750 and "hanging" causes the speaker to hang on the stand. An undesirable situation. So I bought screws at a local hardware store and they fit (the cover still doesn't fit so I don't put the cover on. Each of the speakers weighs 3 pounds and the stands seem to support it.Even though the name says it has a 10 pound weight capacity, each stand holds you out 5 pounds at a time to keep you from bending over. And even then it tilts slightly. It's difficult to adjusting the height is the same as twisting the lock/unlock to adjust the height, which usually results in the base being unscrewed. But it's something you can work around.I anyway. as long as you can't accidentally knock them over or something, you're in good spirits, it serves its purpose. They look good as they are the same gray color as my speakers.
