As other reviewers have clearly stated, this brake line is NOT cupronickel, just plated. Thus, the seller's claim of "stainless steel" is completely false. Instead, the only truthful claim is that this brake line is "rust resistant" due to the coating they apply to the steel tubing. As I live in the rust belt I will be returning the 2 sets of cords I purchased and will choose genuine copper nickel cord which will be the last cord I will ever need to protect my family and myself. item from this seller. Too bad I wanted to believe the seller and not other truthful reviews. But I've changed. Thank you to all the accurate reviewers on what it is Steel!
