This is a copper colored coating on a steel tube. The coating scrapes off, exposing the steel tubes. It attracts a magnet and does not bend easily. It's a steel pipe.

copper brake lines are no problem. If you're replacing your own lines, why not use what the pros use? It is easy to edit, expand and bend under the car. This is the second roll I've bought. Have a supply ready.

This material is much better and cheaper than factory pre-bent lines. They last longer, you can align them anywhere and bend them by hand. Just buy an inexpensive Harbor Freight flaring tool and cutter and you're good to go.

not the same as Ni-Copp or Name Brand brake line. Save your money and don't mess with this junk. Revain has expired otherwise I would have requested a refund. I used it for a brake line and the line was rusted after only 6 months on the car. It shouldn't rust. That's the whole point of working with Copper Nickel Line. There must be an incorrect combination of metal alloys in the line.

As other reviewers have clearly stated, this brake line is NOT cupronickel, just plated. Thus, the seller's claim of "stainless steel" is completely false. Instead, the only truthful claim is that this brake line is "rust resistant" due to the coating they apply to the steel tubing. As I live in the rust belt I will be returning the 2 sets of cords I purchased and will choose genuine copper nickel cord which will be the last cord I will ever need to protect my family and myself. item from this…
