This tool is for those of you who are DIYers and have the latest Cummins RAM trucks. To remove and replace the oil filter for this truck you must first access the filter through the front passenger side wheel well. Where the problems start is once the filter is removed you have to turn it sideways to remove it. This causes the oil from the filter to run all over the floor. Use this tool to remove the oil filter and screw this tool into the oil filter, loosen it and can be removed without spilling oil. It also comes with a handy handle that makes it easy to take it off. To install a new oil filter, fill the new oil filter with fresh engine oil, screw the tool onto the oil filter and reinsert into the engine compartment.
