I managed to replace my phone holder with cd slot because: 1) i need to remove the phone holder when i need to remove and replace the cd which isn't so is a big problem as I don't listen to CDs that much these days, but 2) the phone holder keeps moving and falls off because it can't get a good grip on the slot for the CD. This rearview mirror mount is actually the best phone mount I have seen so far. I've tried the sticky and sucky dash mount and vent mount but they all had flaws and blocked the air conditioning/heating or driving vision. This is by far the best design as it doesn't block the vent or driving vision and I can look in my rearview mirror while checking my phone for GPS direction. It was very easy to attach to the rearview mirror and very secure. I can extend the pole and lower the phone holder when needed, as well as rotate left or right next to the rearview mirror, which is a really cool design when this phone holder gets in the way on certain car models. If you are looking for a smartphone holder, look no further. That's what you get. Quite simply 10 out of 5 stars!
