Review on Enhanced Boat Command System: GPS Tracking, Remote Monitoring, Battery Alerts & Shore Power Management by Mark Clark

If you have it, you cannot do without it

This is an easy installation on a 21ft boat. Under console. GPS is very accurate and as long as it is within range of a cell phone, family members on shore can always pinpoint the boat's position if one is used. And of course track it if stolen. Also, does it allow you to always know the status of the boat? My boat is in the floating dock of the weekend house. I am notified of any movement of the boat using the GPS geofence, as well as any movement under the berth. My installer set it up to sound the boat's horn. I also installed a Wi-Fi extender that works on my dock and installed a motion detector with a ring floodlight camera facing the boat. There is also an alarm clock and a microphone. That way I can talk to anyone in my dock and let them know they're already registered and the police are on their way if needed. I love that it always shows you the status of your battery and if there is water in the cargo area etc. The device and the small monitoring fee are a steal to give you more information about the various things that can go wrong and allow you to react without actually getting on the boat. Just being able to check the status of your batteries from your phone without removing the mooring cover is reason enough for me to own one. Even with a built-in battery holder, you can still have battery problems, such as: B. Problems with the bilge pump when the boat is in the water or on an electric winch with the plug installed.
