I use a pop socket because my Jeep doesn't have a proper mount and a pop socket car mount works great. I really don't like sticking things on my phone and I'm very minimalist, no color, nothing sticks out and I like things that last. The silver metal pop socket looks really nice on my iPhone X and feels much more durable than the plastic socket I bought which fell apart after four months. My only complaint is that $15 seems excessive for such a small part and I wish they had a good guide on where the center back of my iPhone is so I can make sure I get it the first time installed correctly. .
