I'm hoping these are like the zero crossing Belkin, but I've found them to get warm. When tested, they consume 1W+ in the off position. To make sense, in a 24-hour period, you're using roughly the power of a typical 9W LED bulb that's on for two hours or more a day. Even a consideration for the device they might turn off (to save power), the watt capacity means it's not a big device at all. There would be no point in having to unplug these when not in use. This means they are not California Title 24 compliant or eco-friendly industry standards.
