Having a "dry hut" meaning there are no plumbing or water heaters in the house. I had an older model that worked *well*, but the cord got hot and melted, and my bath water was very slow to warm up. I have used this device several times and I can say that it works better than older models. Directions were easy and setting the timer was very easy. I like that it beeps when the time is up. It also has a glowing red light to indicate when it's heating up. And so far I've found that my foot spa takes just over an hour to heat up, while the older one (which melted the cord) took close to 3 hours to do the same. Huge improvements have been made.
