Review on Fermtech Regular Deluxe Siphoning Auto by Dave Phobia

I rarely write product reviews but the design of this item is flawed and I would caution others not to buy it and waste their money. Save time and money and buy another siphon. With this model, the small piece of plastic at the end of the tubing that blocks backflow while the tubing is being filled with liquid easily breaks out of the tubing end. Once this part breaks out, the automatic siphon is useless as there is no way to put the part back in the end. A simple solution for the manufacturer would be to make the end piece removable so that the piece of plastic that cuts off reflux can be easily replaced. Unfortunately, the current design does not allow for disassembly or reassembly, making it almost impossible to replace this fragile part once it breaks down, rendering the element useless for automatic suction.
