I was a bit worried after ordering this bird seed I saw a few reviews about pesticides the problem seemed solved so I received mine Ordered and decided to try it, it smells better than what I bought at the grocery store, I didn't smell any pesticides or chemical smells just the usual birdseed smell. I've planted a few where I feed birds and other small animals and we've gotten far more birds than any other bird seeder I've bought before, just on the first day we had a flock of robins, a great blue jay, a female cardinal and a pair of orioles among normal birds. The robins were approaching my window, when I opened it they came closer. I had a bag of bird seed near the window, I think they could smell it and when trying to find it my cat started watching them from the side with the window closed. I think they were both having fun, the robin walked a foot or so closer to the window then waited and looked at the cat then continued walking until she just walked past the window, my cat chatted to her the whole time, I just wish , I would not have forgotten to charge the camera, I would make a good video
