I am vision impaired, and I bought this safety vest to wear when I am out with my guide dog at night. He has a safety light which is very visible with a reflective harness, but this vest makes me even more easily seen by people who drive their cars thinking that their windshields are not transparent any more. My husband says this vest makes me show up very clearly, especially with the reflective tape. The vest is lightweight, so I can wear it in the summer and not be hot. There is really no excuse now for a driver not seeing us.
