This works fairly well by connecting the Raspberry Pi 400 to the LCD TV which I use as a monitor via the TV's VGA port, also using a small set of speakers to add sound to spend The maximum screen resolution in this combination is only 1024x600, not the best, but sufficient for most of my needs. VLC will not open on this device. Easy to install, no drivers required. The downside is that the case looks like cheap plastic, but it didn't feel like it would fall apart in your hands. So far I can recommend this product.
