It took some time to put together, but it was very solid
I'm a tough guy and I have to watch what I step on. This stool is VERY durable and I have no problem using it. It took a little while to assemble and is unfinished but polished. If you don't like the natural look, you can paint or varnish it. It is also unpainted so can be colored with liquids. The pads on the bottom are also nice because they slide across our kitchen so you can easily move your feet.
